GCEC uniform
At GCEC we want all our riders to respect their equestrian sport by presenting themselves in an organised and well-dressed fashion. We are lucky enough to have a boutique of European riding gear on site, at competitive prices, for everything the horse or rider needs.
Our uniform is mandatory for all members, and consists of:
- Helmet
- Body protector (for riders under 18, jumping riders and beginners)
- GCEC polo
- Riding breeches
- Boots
- Half chaps (these go over your short boots for better grip on the horse and to prevent tack rubbing on the ankles)
- Riding gloves
Member riders can borrow a helmet and back protector (we only have a few junior sizes) for their first term of riding.
Onsite boutique
Please consider buying your riding gear with us: our dedicated and experienced coaches will be happy to fit it all safely for you. Unfortunately we see too many helmets that are not fitted correctly and are therefore unsafe, and we reserve the right not to accept riders with an unfitted helmet. For your safety, back protectors are compulsory for our junior riders and all riders jumping at GCEC.
We will happily guide you to the best technical choice. It's all about safety, and if you find the same option cheaper elsewhere, we will match that price. We import direct from Europe.
