A supportive, professional riding community

Joining GCEC means becoming part of a supportive and professional riding community where you can grow your skills, enjoy riding at a time that suits you, and make lasting connections with our horses and fellow riders.

We are always welcoming new members, and we love to see our members sharing in our passion for horses and riding.

As a GCEC member, you'll enjoy

  • Priority lesson bookings: you choose the day and time you want to ride and it is locked in for each term. Member riding spots are allocated before any places open to the public.
  • Discounted lesson rates: member-only pricing on all of your lessons.
  • Extra savings for upfront payments: save more by paying for the full term in advance.
  • Consistent weekly riding and progress: your lesson time is reserved just for you, helping you build confidence and progress every week.
  • Horsemanship and connection: our coaches guide you in preparing, tacking and connecting with your horse. Members who are proficient at tacking may prepare their horse before the lesson, for more time in the saddle.
  • Fun and community: we are so proud of the community we've built, and our members wear the GCEC uniform with pride.
  • A structured progression plan based on your riding level and goals, and a clear pathway into our part-lease program and competition riding.
  • Access to competitions, clinics, camps, horsemanship days and exclusive member events.

Members also enjoy access to lockers for their gear, a change room, shower, the tack and gear shop, and the ongoing support of our experienced coaches and caring staff.

Members enrol by Queensland school term (generally 10-week blocks) and commit to one lesson per week. If you join after a term has started and places are available, you are simply charged for the remaining weeks. GCEC charges members for only 40 weeks of lessons each year rather than 52, so families can enjoy holidays without paying for lessons in the non-teaching weeks.

At GCEC, membership isn't just about lessons: it's about belonging to a community that values learning, connection and a genuine love of horses.
